Kelli was born and raised in Monahans,Texas where her passion for writing began. After graduation she moved to Austin,Texas where she was hunted down by Cory.  They were married in 1998.  Her vision for this letter soon began after their marriage and she finally  took action in the fall of 2008.  Kelli has always wondered if, "other people really DO live like us."  She set out to discover the truth by asking others to tell their story.

Kelli's letter has gotten national attention in newspapers, interent, TV and radio.  She anticipates this hunting season to be even better.  
"Like any new adventure, you don't know what to expect.  My letter has become a wonderful collection of  stories. I'm always excited to get a new one," says Kelli.

Her plan for the Hunting Widow's Diary is a collection of stories told through written word,momentos,photos, and any other found object that fits the story.  
Kelli wants it to look and feel just like a diary you found between the mattress.
 
 In addition to her writing, she loves being a full time mother of  two exceptional children. ReAnn is 9, and Dustin is 6.  She is  very active in their school and church activities.  Her family currently resides in Idabel, Oklahoma.
